I'm having some problems with Matt's sound sets after re-installing my MSTS and it's driving me nuts! When I went to run an engine that was aliased to his sounds and the cab came up, the locomotive sounds were notch 8. As I throttled up to 13% and 25%, the notch 8 sound in the can started getting higher and higher pitched, then at 50%, it just cut out completlely and the only the horn works in the cab. However, everything is fine outside the cab. It does this with all of his sound sets. I have deleted the sounds, re-installed them and re-aliased, but I'm still getting the same problem. All my other sounds work fine. Anybody know what's up here? I had 95% of my locos aliased to his sets and would like to be able to run them again.
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried lowering your sound hardware acceleration settings? Don`t know if it look`s the same in Vista or not. Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Volume tab>speaker settings>advanced

I had the same problem and i was able to fix it by checking the audio sliders in the sim to make sure they are set to the max and you should be set .
