If only you could hear the roar of these three diesels on this run! Sweet sweet music... Due to congestion on RW's own mainlines today, the railroad diverted loaded coal drag C-PIIN25 ( Coal train running from a mine near PIttsburgh headed for the Indiana Power & Light plant in INdianapolis on the 25th of the month) via CSX trackage at Crestline, Ohio for the run to Indianapolis... The power on C-PIIN25 this day consisted of RW CW44ACU #4411, RW SD75ACU #4309, and RW 3-window SD60M #6218... This train typically runs with just a pair of ACUs; the SD60M was added to do battle with Harper Hill on the Indy Line west of Ridgeway... With AC motors on the lead GE singing and the scream of the two hard-working 710 engines roaring through the flatlands, this 125-car coal train put on quite the show as it rolled up the hill at 15-25 mph through the brilliant fall colors... Enjoy! >>MC
