I let my subscription run out. Too many smart @$$e$ and know it alls on that forum. They're almost as bad as train-sim.com Railroadforums.com is the way to go.

Hi, all! Old thread, I know.
I'm a member of the Diesel Detailer forum, Railroad.net, and the Atlas forums, as well as being an old member of this site's predecessor board. I'm more of a hands-on model railroader than a train-sim kind of guy, though.
Like others, I see no need to pay to belong to a forum. Lots of criticism exists on the Net of Toad Clark's website existing just to fulfill his camera-watching hobby. Apparently, the servers are more than 90% filled with saved videos and the like, with the various forums taking up the remaining 10%, but it's the forum users that pay.
