RW's mainline to St. Louis was undergoing some minor trackwork today, which allowed for the rare spectacle of manifest freight M-DWSR (DeWitt, NY to Shreveport, LA via KCS @ Kansas City) to detour via the CSX Indy Line... Since RW's mainlines in the east feature cab signals, all foreign power needs to be given a cab signal leader, and RW GP60 #7300 (my latest reskinning work) is one of those designated cab signal leaders... Normally, train M-DWSR features run-through KCS power behind the cab signal leader, but today, BNSF power made an appearance instead, in the form of two ex-ATSF units- GP60 8722 and GP60B 332, providing for an A-A-B GP60 lashup! So enjoy these shots of an RW detour headed to the KCS with BNSF power on CSX rails... >>MC
