Here are some screenshots I have done with Maple Leaf tracks' latest release The Greater Toronto Area. I got mine the first day it came out.
Here are soem I did On December 24 to start things off.
First up, shots of Canadian National Passenger trains using BLW Payware and Valleypass public freeware Canadian National passenger trainsets.
1. Here is CN E9 1899 leading a Super Continental out of Toronto Union Station. This is the trancontinental rival of Canadian Pacific's The Canadian. You may also notice The CN Tower in the background as well.
2. In the suburban town of Hamilton, Ontario, CN FP9 6533 leads a train from the Buffalo, New York/Niagara Falls area.
3. Now at Aldershot, Ontario, CN FPA4 6788 leads a train bound for Toronto from Winsor, Ontario. Ithas made some stops on the Niagara Corridor.
Now for some shots of VIA trains. just like the Canadian National trains, they are a combination of the Valleypass public freeware and BLW Payware VIA sets.
1. Departing Toronto Union Station, VIA FP9 6539 would be the lead power on a Transcontinental train. It would be either the Super Continental or The Canadian since both trains exisited in the early years of VIA.
2. Now we have VIA FPA4 6767 with a three car train in Lincolnville, Ontation.
The next three are from Richmond Hill, Ontario.
1. We start this next set with another VIA FPA4. This time it's VIA 6785 with a long hual train.
2. Now we have CN E9 1899 and the Super Continental again. But this time, the whole train is in the VIA colors.
3. Here is todays VIA Canadian. This train would be using Canadian National trackage instead of Canadian Pacific trackage. Leading this train is VIA F40PH 6436.
I have some more that I'll post later.
